Here's some of our frequently asked questions we hope that this will be of assistance to you.

 

Q- What's the difference between Biltong and Jerky?

Biltong: Traditionally based on a dry spice mix normally consisting of Salt, Pepper and Coriander. It is also sliced thicker around 25MM Thick and dried over 4-5 Days.

Jerky:

Traditionally based on a wet marinate consisting of Soy Sauce, Worcestershire sauce and other flavours you like to add. It is also sliced thinner and dried over a shorter period.

Q- Is biltong gluten free?

A- Yes or biltong is gluten free.

 

Q- Is your beef grass fed?

A- Yes our biltong is Grass Fed.

 

Q- Will I get addicted to Biltong and or Jerky?

A-Sorry but you will is that a bad thing?

 

Q- Best way to store Biltong, Drywores, Chilli Bites?

A- In a brown paper bag either in your fridge or if your house is cool in the pantry. Remember it is a dried meat so if it is humid brown bag in fridge is best.
